2. Sgt. Moshe Yitzhak Hacohen Katz, 22, from New Haven Connecticut, is dead — killed in a war that Lebanon did not start, that the Lebanese state explicitly opposed, and that Hezbollah launched against the express wishes of the Lebanese government. His father’s grief crosses continents.
